Exploration of Knit Structure, Materials, Three Dimensionality

Using the M1 Plus program, I used my knowledge of knitting to investigate different variations of knit structure combinations to create three dimensional fabrics. Focusing on yarn materiality and color combinations, I challenged myself to create textures and dimensionality that goes beyond using lycra as the main material to achieve the effects, In doing so, I found other methods to attain dimensionality, texture, shape, and rigidity that furthers my understanding of knit structures that could be applied and formed around dimensional objects.
