Imagery of Home
Digital Print
Questioning what does the idea of home look like. Combining historical imagery and my own house, I am reflecting on the idea of home and white it means. I ponder about the house the symbolizes the American Dream, the chinoiserie and exoticism of Eastern elements in America, and this history of Chinese railroad workers and marches for equality. After leaving what some may consider the “motherland” what is home.
Potential Installation
Iterations
Iterations of prints I made during the process of creating the final print. To me, they become a cinematic shot of the continual search for imagery, context, and representation on the meaning of home
